This aftermarket shock shaft set is a direct replacement option for 1/5 scale TRAXXAS X-MAXX dampers, intended for routine damper rebuilds and straightforward tune-ups. The shafts are supplied as a matched pair suitable for front or rear damper use and are supplied as RC-scale service parts only.

During damper service these shafts guide the piston and seal stack through their rotating and reciprocating motion; fitting new shafts can reduce seal abrasion and return a smoother damping feel. Inspect damper bores and seals when installing, and change seals or bushings where necessary to preserve correct damping performance.
