This aluminium motor heat sink fitted with an integrated cooling fan is built for TRAXXAS 1/8 X-Maxx models, adding a conduction path and active airflow to reduce motor temperatures during extended or heavy use. It is supplied as an aftermarket cooling upgrade intended to support tuning choices around gearing and ESC settings rather than change the vehicle's baseline performance.
The assembly clamps around the motor can and directs airflow across the motor case and endbell when the fan is powered. Fitting normally needs access to the motor mounting area and a clearance check around the pinion and spur gear; make sure the fan lead is routed away from moving parts and hooked to a suitable 5-12V source as advised by your motor and ESC. Treat the heat sink as one element of a thermal plan that also uses correct gear ratios, ESC setup, and running breaks for high-load sessions.
Select this heat sink when you need passive conduction plus forced airflow to keep motor temps more stable on TRAXXAS X-Maxx vehicles, and always confirm fitment and wiring before first runs.
