This replacement set of wheel joints is made to withstand heavy use on TRAXXAS X-MAXX 8S models, acting as the link between the axle case and the front or rear CVD to reduce play and cope with stronger brushless power.

The joint body is manufactured at a 1.5mm wall thickness and the shaft pin is 0.5mm larger than the stock item, with the outer diameter increased from 17mm to 18mm to improve driveline power transfer. These measured changes focus on mechanical strength and a firmer CVD interface while preserving the original axle geometry.

Installation notes: these units replace the stock wheel joint at the driveshaft to axle case/CVD junction; basic axle housing and CVD disassembly is required. Use standard RC maintenance tools and apply thread locker where appropriate. Sold as a 2pcs set to fit one axle position.
