Reinforced CVD drive for X-Maxx 8S

This 8-piece CVD drive set is supplied as a direct aftermarket reinforcement for Traxxas X-Maxx running on 8S power. Hardened steel #45 is used for the main drive components to increase wear resistance and handle the higher RPMs produced by high-power setups.

The kit implements a thicker dogbone profile grown from the common 5.5mm to a 7mm section and replaces the original hex retention with a perforated alloy hex secured by a stainless steel pin. These revisions keep the hex concentric under load and help reduce slippage between the CVD and hex at high speed.

The supplier lists included items for reference: Hex Adapter - 2 pcs, Stainless Steel Screw Shaft M5x4x20 - 2 pcs, Set Screws 5x5 - 2 pcs, with Manual numbers 7750, 7737, 7756. The assembly transmits drive from the gearbox to the wheels so tyres rotate consistently during high-speed runs.
