Reinforced CVDs for X-MAXX 6S Performance

This 16pcs replacement kit is an aftermarket constant velocity drive assembly made for Traxxas Xmaxx 6S applications. Core drive parts use hardened steel #45 while the dogbones are upgraded from 5.5mm to 7mm diameter to better withstand the higher torque and rotational speeds common on 6S rigs. The interface between the CVD and wheel hex uses a perforated coupling secured with a stainless pin for a more stable alloy hex under load.

The package includes hardware to simplify installation and retention: four hex adapters, four stainless steel screw shafts M5x4x20, and four set screws 5x5, referenced in the supplied manual as 7750, 7737, and 7756. These components aim to deliver steadier wheel rotation and longer service life compared with stock parts when running high-power setups.

For tuning and maintenance the kit replaces softer stock pieces with hardened steel items to limit deformation at high RPM and to keep wheel tracking consistent during aggressive driving. The pinned alloy hex joint is intended to reduce slop between the CVD and wheel hex during heavy acceleration.
