This 16 piece CVD kit is built to meet the high speed demands of the Traxxas X-Maxx 6S driveline and replaces wear-prone parts with hardened steel #45 components plus reinforced alloy hex interfaces. The assembly transmits wheel and tyre rotation through the drivetrain while resisting deformation under sustained high rpm loading.

Key manufacturing changes versus stock include beefed-up dogbones increased from 5.5mm to 7mm, and a revised CVD to hex junction that uses a stainless steel pin through a perforated interface to retain the alloy hex more securely than the original fastener. These modifications aim to improve rotational stability while preserving original drivetrain geometry.
