This RC-scale tube chassis protection set is made for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer platform. The kit uses 0.5mm stainless steel panels to shield the forward tube section and wheel well areas while adding a metallic, pro-scale appearance.

The compact panels are fit for purpose: they deflect debris and contact during bashing or scale runs, while the metal finish adds basic abrasion resistance and a consistent look across the lower chassis tubes. Panels are intended for adhesive mounting to keep installation low-profile.

Installation steps (adhesive method): mark alignment points on the tube chassis that match the panel profiles, apply the supplied double sided tape to the panel contact areas, press each panel into place and verify alignment, then leave the tape to set before running the model under load.
