This aluminum rear axle housing is an aftermarket replacement part designed for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER scale model, sold as model UDR013B. The component replaces the stock rear axle housing (without carrier) and is supplied as a 23pcs set that includes the stainless steel fasteners needed for installation.

Machined from aluminum 6061 T6 in a one-piece CNC process, the housing provides a precise bore and mounting faces for axle and differential components while offering greater tensile strength and improved heat dispersion compared with standard plastic housings. Tight machining tolerances are intended to reduce drivetrain play and let the differential and shafts turn more smoothly.
