6061-T6 L-shape piggy back dampers for TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER

This L-shape piggy back damper set is a scale-focused replacement kit for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER platform. Each damper uses CNC-grade aluminium 6061-T6 bodies with integrated piston chambers to improve damping consistency and reduce internal friction compared with basic plastic units.

Fitted to both front and rear mounting points, each assembly helps control impact loads and chassis roll while preserving scale appearance. Spring preload and effective spring rate are adjusted by the top spring retainer, giving riders a simple method to tune ride height and response for different surfaces.

Great work at being shocks only problem is the same day I installed them and my UDR did a couple of cartwheels the bottom connector has now separated from the trailing arms while the connection is still in the trailing arms.

What is included in the damper kit?

The kit contains four spring dampers (front and rear) and four internal damper cartridges, matching the original packing list.

Can I adjust spring preload and how?

Yes. Turn the top spring retainer to change preload and effectively stiffen or soften the spring response for different track surfaces.

Do these replace stock front and rear shocks?

They are designed to be installed in the stock front and rear damper locations on the listed UNLIMITED DESERT RACER platform.
