Low-profile front skid for Unlimited Desert Racer

This aftermarket front skid plate is made for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer 1:7 Pro-Scale platform and supplied as the GPM UDRZSP5 kit. The plate is laser cut from 2mm 304 stainless steel to give a corrosion-resistant guard for the gearbox area and lower chassis panels, finished with a brushed look to match metal accessories.

The kit reduces direct impact and abrasion to the gearbox and chassis when running over rocks, packed sand and other coarse terrain at scale speeds. It installs onto the stock mounting points using the included fasteners so no extra hardware is required.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the original screws at the mount points, position the skid plate, and secure it with the supplied flat head screws. Check screw clearance and re-check tightness after the first outing to ensure correct fitment.

The kit contents include the stainless skid plate and the fasteners needed to replace the original lower plate directly.
