This aftermarket front damper mount set is built for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER scale buggy to reduce front suspension lean and improve chassis stability. Made from aluminum 6061 T6, the mounts give a firmer pivot point compared with stock plastic components and help make setup changes more repeatable.

The set is tuning oriented: changing the damper mounting location alters roll behaviour and front-end lean, letting you dial steering feel and weight transfer on rough tracks and big jumps. These parts are fitted to the original damper assemblies and act as alternate mounting locations rather than replacing internal damper internals.

Installation tips: start by seating the damper eyelets into the inner mounting holes to confirm alignment, then slide the outer plate into position if using the external leverage point. Use moderate screw torque to avoid damaging plastic hub threads on the chassis.
