This aftermarket front CVD set is built for TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer models to replace standard dogbones and enhance front drivetrain longevity. The assembly moves motor torque to the front wheels via an SST joint and a hardened steel body to deliver a firmer response under load while retaining the vehicle scale and original driveline layout.

The kit contains two front CVD halves designed to pair with existing dogbones and driveline components. The extra duty profile spans 4.5mm to 6.5mm diameters and the midpoint dogbone length is 96mm to match the Unlimited Desert Racer geometry without altering axle positioning.

Installation follows common CVD swap steps: remove stock dogbone ends, fit the CVD halves to the axle and hub interfaces, secure the SST joint fasteners, and confirm spline engagement and suspension travel to prevent binding. Apply thread locker to fasteners and perform a short test run to recheck clearances.
