3.4mm stainless sway bars for SUDR312FS/FRS

This aftermarket sway bar set is made for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer platform and upgrades roll control on both axles using thicker stainless steel rods. The design changes roll behaviour while leaving other suspension components unchanged.

Key hardware details: the bars are stainless steel and the diameter is increased from about 2mm to 3.4mm to raise torsional stiffness. The kit includes the tools required to adjust fit during installation. The package contains 2 pcs sway bar rods plus 1 pcs reamer for hole enlargement.

Installation note: use the supplied reamer to carefully open locating holes on the chassis or suspension mounts so the thicker rods seat smoothly. Enlarge in small steps and check alignment of the sway bar ends and mounting points before final tightening to avoid binding.

Tuning role: fitting thicker stainless sway bars reduces chassis roll and shifts handling balance between understeer and oversteer depending on which axle is stiffened - swap front or rear stiffness selectively to dial the handling rather than relying only on springs or shock settings.
