The UDRZSP567 kit supplies an 18-piece stainless steel skid plate solution built for Traxxas 1:7 Unlimited Desert Racer Pro-Scale models. The set uses 1mm and 2mm 304 stainless plates fitted to front, center and rear chassis zones to cut down direct impacts to the chassis shell and battery cover during tough off-road running.

Included hardware lets you swap these plates in place of the original plastic protection or add an extra metal layer where needed. Two POM collars are provided to sit between a protection plate and the rear axle case to stabilise the mount, and double-sided tape strips are pre-applied around the battery cover area to help adhesion after fitting.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the original fasteners at each mounting point, position the plates and secure using the supplied screws. The kit contains both round head and flat head screws in the sizes listed with the original item contents, and the POM collars are positioned where noted to avoid contact with moving parts. For best adhesion with the tape, clean and dry the chassis contact areas and warm the tape and battery cover briefly with a hair dryer before pressing the tape into place.
