Underbody centre guard

This aftermarket underbody guard is made for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer 1:7 and is cut from 1mm 304 stainless steel. The plate mounts over the vehicle's central undertray to reduce direct wear to the chassis and the battery cover when you run on sand, gravel or other abrasive surfaces.

Fitting is simple: remove the factory fasteners around the battery cover, locate the protection plate over the centre chassis and fasten it using the supplied flat head screws. Double-sided tape is provided around the battery cover to aid initial positioning; for best adhesion clean and dry the mating surfaces and warm the tape and cover with a hair dryer before pressing into place.

The brushed metal finish gives a consistent look beneath the vehicle while adding very little weight thanks to the 1mm sheet. This component is intended as a wear surface and mounting interface rather than a structural chassis reinforcement, improving longevity and scale appearance during aggressive off-road use.

Use the supplied screws and tape for a snug fit, check alignment before final tightening, and inspect the screws and adhesive after runs in sandy or highly abrasive terrain.
