Aluminium L-shape Front Internal Shock

This aluminium piggy-back internal damper is a scale RC replacement part made for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer 1/7 platform. The L-shape body houses an internal piston stack and the unit is 160mm to match the front shock geometry used on the compatible model.

Installation is a direct swap at the front damper mounting points where dimensions match, and you can retain the original shock spring and top retainer if they are compatible. Damping is adjusted via the top spring retainer and by turning the red adjustment screw at the base of the negative-pressure oil chamber to alter internal preload and oil flow.

The component is intended for functional suspension tuning rather than purely cosmetic use, letting drivers fine tune rebound and compression response and change perceived spring firmness without altering spring rates or overall shock length.
