Servo-forward aluminium bumper for TRX6 Mercedes-Benz

This aluminium front bumper set is a scale accessory built for the TRX6 Mercedes-Benz platform. It moves the servo forward to shift front-end weight distribution, helping low-speed crawling stability and refining steering feel on tight, technical lines. The kit includes D-rings and the required mounting hardware to replace the stock bumper and add durable tow points and visual detail.

Made from 6061 T6 aluminium, the bumper is machined into a compact profile with a metallic finish that emphasises stiffness and wear resistance. Fasteners and washers are supplied for installation, but this design is not compatible with the original skid plate and the skid plate must be removed before fitting.

Will this bumper work with non-Mercedes TRX6 bodies?

The design targets TRAXXAS TRX6 mounting points; it can fit other TRX6 bodies only if the same front mount locations are used and the body allows the bumper profile.

Do I need extra hardware to move the servo?

The package includes the screws and washers for the bumper. Standard hex drivers and basic hand tools are normally sufficient to relocate the servo and secure the new bumper.

Will steering geometry change after installation?

Shifting the servo forward changes front weight bias and can alter steering feel. Check linkages and servo endpoints after fitting and re-trim the transmitter if necessary.

Is the original skid plate reusable with this bumper?

No. This front bumper requires removal of the stock skid plate to clear the mounting area and fit correctly.
