Rear Crossmember Upgrade

The TRX4015RN rear chassis crossmember is an aftermarket 7075 aluminium replacement created for TRAXXAS TRX4 and TRX6 scale trail crawlers. Precision machined from 7075 aluminium, the component provides a stiffer rear mounting point to help reduce chassis flex during large articulation.

Fitment details are shown below and the mounting hardware listed in the package lets you install the part using standard TRX4/TRX6 mounting points. The crossmember reinforces the frame rails and works with suspension links to keep the rear chassis more stable when crawling slowly over technical terrain.

Fitting needs basic hand tools and careful alignment with the stock mounting holes; retain or swap spacers as required. From a tuning perspective, the crossmember helps the chassis keep its geometry under load, which can make steering response and weight transfer more consistent when testing tyres and shock settings.

For builders wanting a low-profile, robust rear crossmember for TRX4/TRX6 crawling rigs, this 7075 aluminium replacement increases rear stiffness and includes the fasteners needed for direct fitment.

Refer to the Compatible Models box above for the exact TRAXXAS TRX4 and TRX6 model and kit numbers that match this part.
The package includes the crossmember plus the Grade 12.9 round head screws listed under Packing includes for direct mounting.
7075 aluminium offers higher tensile strength than common alloys and reduces flex compared with plastic parts, helping the chassis hold alignment under load.
Use hex drivers and check hole alignment before final tightening; work progressively and reuse or swap spacers to keep correct ride height and link geometry.
