This brass front C-hub assembly is an aftermarket replacement made for TRAXXAS TRX4M platforms. Machined from solid brass, the part sits between the front gearbox and the wheel C-hub and integrates with the full steering assembly. Its mass and contour provide a front-axle ballast that helps stabilise low-speed crawling while remaining compatible with the stock steering geometry.

The central joint accepts a 3x6x2.5 bearing to connect the CVD, replacing the original gasket-style interface. That bearing-mounted connection delivers smoother rotation and reduces concentrated wear where the CVD meets the hub compared with the gasket solution. Each brass hub is roughly 4g, adding measurable weight at the wheel end to help tune roll and traction characteristics.
