These scale crawler tires are made for TRAXXAS TRX4M platforms and arrive with foam inserts sized at a nominal 62mm outer diameter and 20.5mm width for 1.0 inch wheel setups. The compound is a low durometer butyl rubber formulated to increase traction on low speed technical terrain while the foam insert and internal reinforcement help the tyre hold its shape under articulation and load.
Design notes supplied with the tyre reference a 25-degree soft rubber compound and internal reinforcement to reduce tearing. The construction aims to limit slip on wet rock and dirt compared with harder plastic tyres, and the insert gives extra sidewall support to stabilise the tyre during extreme articulation.
On fitment and mounting the inner diameter is deliberately snug to reduce tyre spin on the rim, a long bead tongue assists clamping, and the design accepts longer fixing screws for direct attachment. The clamping section is kept thin to ease rim mounting, and a single-handed compression tool can be used to seat the tyre and insert quickly.
