This aftermarket lower spur gear case cover is an RC-scale replacement made for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platform. It protects the motor cavity and main spur gear from direct strikes and contamination while still allowing routine service access.

Machined from aluminum 6061 T6, the cover delivers greater tensile strength than stock plastic housings and forms a rigid barrier at the gearbox opening. The kit ships as a 7 pcs set and includes stainless steel round head screws for mounting, listed below. Multiple finishes are offered to suit or customise a TRX4 build.

Installation notes and tuning role:

• Fits in place of the factory lower spur gear case cover to give a tougher enclosure without changing gearbox geometry.
• The alloy plate helps reduce debris ingress near the spur and motor, lowering wear between spur gear and pinion when crawling on rough trails.
• Due to the rigid construction, confirm clearance around the motor, pinion and any aftermarket ESC or wiring before final torque to avoid binding.
