9mm hex adapters for TRX4

This aluminium wheel hex adapter set is engineered for use with TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler chassis to shift the wheel mounting point 4mm outboard versus standard hexes, bringing the wheel closer to the hub and widening the track for steadier performance on technical rock sections. The adapters are a simple tuning item to alter wheel offset without changing suspension geometry, and they mate with the TRX4 wheel hub and driveshaft interfaces.

Installation is plug-and-play: the 9mm-thick hex slides onto the existing hub and uses the supplied stainless fasteners and washers, with the wheel retained by the original wheel nuts and socket screws. Moving the wheel outboard can reduce body-to-wheel gaps or allow wider tires to clear the chassis. Available in several colours, these are intended as a scale-compatible wheel spacing and stability upgrade for crawling rigs.

Will these fit the stock TRX4 hub without mods?

They are made to slide over the stock TRX4 hub interface and mount using the supplied hardware, so no hub machining is normally needed for standard installations.

Do I need longer studs or different wheel nuts?

No extra studs are required; the design uses the original wheel nuts and socket screws while including shims and washers to ensure proper spacing and fit.

Will this change driveshaft alignment or require CVD changes?

The adapters shift wheel offset without altering suspension geometry, and they are intended to interface with the existing CVD and driveshaft assemblies without additional modifications.
