This two-piece steel 10T pinion set is an RC accessory for TRAXXAS TRX4 TRAIL CRAWLER use, model TRX4010T. Machined from hardened steel #45, the gears suit motors with a 3.175mm centre bore and 0.8mm tooth pitch, giving reliable mesh under low-speed, high-load crawling conditions.

Fitment and compatibility: the pinions are made to pair with 32 pitch spur gears and a 10-tooth configuration, so check your spur and motor shaft sizes before installing. The package includes the small 3x3 fixing screw to secure the pinion to many TRX4 motor shafts for a direct swap in common setups.

Tuning notes: swapping the pinion tooth count changes the final drive ratio and tradeoff between torque and top speed on trails. For better low-speed grunt use a smaller pinion; always confirm clearance and gear mesh to prevent early wear.

Workshop tips: inspect the motor shaft for burrs, confirm the 3.175mm centre bore fits the shaft snugly, and tighten the fixing screw with care to avoid over-torquing. Recheck mesh and the securing screw after the opening runs.
