This is an aftermarket RC-scale aluminum servo horn and steering link kit made for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler owners, sold as model TRX416025. The 8pcs set replaces the stock plastic horn and linkage to reduce flex and improve steering responsiveness when the model uses a straight steering arm layout.
The steering link uses a counter-clockwise (CCW) threaded tie rod so you can adjust length without disturbing ball end seating, making toe and steering bias setup simpler. The midpoint between the ball ends measures 77.5mm, a handy reference when setting geometry or swapping parts.
Included hardware and notes: the kit ships with stainless steel mounting screws and a lock nut, and the main components are aluminium to reduce wear compared with original plastic parts. The set is aimed at scale trail crawling builds on the TRX4 chassis that need a firmer, more consistent steering feel.
Installation and tuning: fit the aluminium horn in place of the plastic original using the supplied screws, confirm servo spline alignment before final tightening, then use the CCW tie rod to make small length adjustments while checking steering centring and travel. This direct upgrade addresses plastic arm flex to give steadier low-speed crawling steering.
