This RC-scale brass outer portal drive housing set is made for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler and carries the model number TRX4021X/2. The heavier outer housings shift unsprung mass at each wheel to change how the rig behaves while crawling and when recovering from low, soft or uneven surfaces.

Functionally, each outer housing increases wheel-end mass by 50 g, which helps maintain wheel contact, widens usable crawl angles and assists a stuck axle to regain traction and return to level. The housings are suitable for use on either front or rear portals as specified, and are sold as an RC accessory only.

The kit is supplied with stainless steel fasteners for secure attachment; included are stainless steel flat head screws 2.5*8, 32 pcs. Use the supplied hardware and common hobby hand tools to fit the housings to a compatible TRX4 portal axle assembly.
