Pendulum wheel mass for precise low speed traction

This kit is a 12pcs pendulum-style wheel weight set created for TRAXXAS TRX4 scale trail crawlers. The design uses a brass main body with an alloy lid and removable stainless steel rolling beads so each wheel can gain extra downforce without altering suspension geometry. The pendulum mass stays low and near the tyre contact patch to help keep wheels planted during slow, technical crawling and when climbing out of hollows.

The units mount to the outer case of the knuckles, front and rear, and do not replace any internal axle components. Per-wheel mass is tuned by adding or removing up to eight stainless steel beads per unit, each bead about 4g, allowing a range of roughly 66g to 86g per wheel depending on bead count and layout. A wider 23mm hex adapter is included for larger hex setups.

Materials and layout are chosen for use on muddy or wet terrain, with stainless hardware and beads to reduce corrosion risk versus untreated metals. The pendulum action keeps a consistent downward bias as the wheel turns, focusing changes on traction behavior rather than steering geometry.
