Wheel-end pendulum weight upgrade for TRX4

This upgrade kit is an RC-scale pendulum wheel knuckle axle weight with a 9mm hex adapter made for the TRAXXAS TRX4 platform. It adds downward mass at each wheel to increase tyre contact and improve crawling stability when tackling slow, technical obstacles or wet, muddy lines.

The pendulum units use stainless steel rolling beads so added mass sits lower in the wheel assembly and delivers a steady downward force. The set boosts weight at the outer wheel area to help the tyre keep traction when the chassis leans or when a wheel sinks into a hole.

Supplied materials include a brass pendulum housing and stainless steel rolling beads and fasteners. The beads can be removed to fine-tune wheel-end weight. Installation targets the outer case of front and rear knuckles, giving extra downward load without altering primary steering or suspension geometry.

What hardware comes in the 16 piece kit?

How do I tune the wheel weight?

Open the pendulum housing and remove or add the stainless beads. Each bead is about 4g so you can step the mass up or down to suit tyre compound and trail conditions.

Will the beads corrode in wet running?

The beads and fasteners are stainless steel which resists corrosion in normal muddy or wet RC use, though rinsing and drying after runs will extend service life.

Where should I fit these on the TRX4?

Fit the pendulum assemblies to the outer face of the front and rear wheel knuckles so the extra mass sits outboard at the tyre rim, improving contact during slow crawling moves.
