Upgraded motor mount for TRX4 crawling

This aluminum double-sided motor mount plate is an RC-scale accessory made for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platforms. Both faces use formed heat sink fins to expand surface area and improve passive motor cooling during long, low-speed crawl runs.

Manufacturer notes list a part thickness of 13mm, which is 8mm thicker than the stock item to boost rigidity and shift the motor forward slightly. The set includes stainless steel flat head screws 3x14, 2pcs for attachment to the chassis.

Fitting is a chassis-level replacement of the stock motor mount while keeping the motor and gearbox layout unchanged. The extra material stiffness reduces motor movement under torque and the slight forward bias can help traction and balance when negotiating technical obstacles.

Check motor and gearbox clearances on your rig before install and verify screw torque after the first run to maintain reliable fitment.
