Compact spare tyre bracket for TRX4 Mercedes

This 1.2mm stainless steel spare tyre support is an aftermarket accessory for the TRAXXAS TRX4 MERCEDES-BENZ 1/10 crawler, designed to secure and locate a variety of spare tyre sizes on the spare carrier without suggesting any full-scale application.

Height is set using the screw on the hook and gives roughly 1cm of travel to accommodate different tyre diameters. The main plate is 1.2mm stainless steel for corrosion resistance and rigidity. Assembly uses two stainless plates with fixed screws and locknuts on each side, and the kit includes gold-coloured screws and shims; some mounting points may require drilling or reaming for a proper fit.

Fitment tips: position the mount in the spare tyre area, trial-fit the spare, adjust the hook screw to the desired clearance and secure the locknuts. If holes need enlarging, use the supplied 2.5mm drill bit and confirm there is no interference with bodywork or suspension before final tightening.
