This front and rear aluminum gearbox cover set is an aftermarket upgrade for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler, offered to fit model TRX4012A. The set protects the stock gearbox housings and adds stiffening to the differential area for more dependable trail performance.

Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the covers balance strength and weight while providing a threaded oil filler port to simplify differential servicing. Tight machining tolerances help keep the output shafts and gears aligned under slow-speed crawling loads for smoother drivetrain action.

Fitting the covers involves removing the factory plastic covers, locating the aluminum pieces and fastening them with the supplied stainless steel cap head screws.
