The JR-TRX411-GU front C-hub set is an RC-scale replacement designed for the Traxxas TRX-4 chassis, finished in a gun metal anodised tone. It provides a direct metal alternative to the stock plastic hubs to limit flex at the steering pivot and extend service life under trail conditions.
These parts are made to interface with the TRX-4 steering knuckles and spindle locations; fitment targets the standard TRX-4 geometry. Installation normally reuses the vehicle's existing fasteners, so no special adaptors are required for a standard TRX-4 conversion.
From a tuning perspective, aluminum C-hubs help stabilise steering geometry when the suspension is loaded, which can alter toe and caster response during aggressive driving or slow rock crawling. The metal hubs prioritise alignment consistency and reduced deformation over long trail sessions.
During installation inspect thread engagement, deburr any casting flash from mating faces, verify clearance to suspension and steering links, and apply the vehicle maker's recommended torque. A light threadlocker is commonly used on fasteners exposed to repeated shock and vibration.
