This front shock tower is a CNC friendly replacement made from 6061 T6 aluminum, built to let TRX-4 scale trail crawlers change shock mounting positions and suspension geometry without swapping the stock dampers. The design keeps the mounting point light yet stiff so it resists bending under load during steep climbs.
Multiple mounting holes allow you to alter shock angle and effective ride height; moving the upper shock mount adjusts axle articulation and shock leverage to suit rocky climbs or technical trail sections. Each hole stabilizes the shock top to keep the damper aligned through steering and suspension travel.
The original-sourced hardware is supplied for fitting to the front bulkhead: front shock tower 2pcs, stainless steel round head screw 3x16 2pcs, stainless steel flat head screw 3x10 4pcs, stainless steel round head screw 3x18 2pcs, and 3x6x2 alloy collar 4pcs. Use standard RC practice when torquing fasteners and check clearances with steering linkages and skid components before running.
Fitment note: this tower is listed for TRAXXAS TRX-4 DEFENDER 82056-4 and TACTICAL UNIT 82066-4. Other TRX-4 variants may need skid or nearby part trimming to clear the tower; verify fit on your chassis before final installation.
Fit this aluminum adjustable front shock tower when you want faster geometry changes for climbing and technical routes, keeping adjustments focused on link geometry and spring/damper setup rather than replacing whole shocks.
