This JR-TRX418-BK aluminum body post mount is made for Traxxas TRX-4 scale and trail crawlers, finished in a black anodized coating. As an RC-scale accessory, the mount replaces the basic plastic body post fittings to deliver a firmer and more reliable attachment point for the vehicle body.
In practice the mount secures the body to the chassis while permitting fine adjustment of ride height and clearance—handy when tuning for tyre clearance, articulation, or a cleaner scale stance. The aluminum build helps prevent deformation compared with stock plastic parts, keeping alignment steady under repeated use.
Installation follows standard TRX-4 body-post replacement steps: remove the original plastic post, position the new aluminum mount, check clearance and alignment, then tighten. Verify there is no rubbing on tyres or interference with suspension travel after final fitting.
