Upgraded aluminum C-hub assembly for TRX4 steering

This adjustable front C hub kit is built for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler scale rigs. It replaces the original plastic C-hubs and fasteners with aluminum 6061 T6 parts, Delrin collars, and stainless steel king pins to produce a firmer steering pivot and consistent damper mounting. The kit ships as a 28 piece set and is intended for trail-style scale applications.

The tuning role of this set centers on steering geometry and damper mount position. Altering the C-hub and varying the number of Delrin collars at each damper point changes damper angle and effective ride height. The mount location is moved slightly outward from the stock vertical damper line, which modifies lateral support and permits fine height adjustments via collar stacks.

Installation notes based on the supplied hardware list:

• Fit the C-hubs and knuckle connection using the provided king pins and stainless screws, keeping mating surfaces clean and applying light grease where metal contacts metal.
• Use round head screws 3x18 (2 pcs) for the tie rod when using the modified tie rod-to-damper connection shown in the kit notes.
• Select damper mounting screw length by collar count: no collar use 3x14, one collar use 3x16, two collars use 3x18, three collars use 3x20; confirm adequate thread engagement and avoid over-tightening.
• Check steering link geometry after fitting to prevent binding and to ensure full throw with your servo and steering stops.

Replace the stock plastic C-hubs with this aluminum kit to gain a more stable steering pivot and greater damper position adjustability; verify fitment and steering geometry step by step during setup.
