Front and rear adjustable damper mount upgrade

This 16 piece aluminum adjustable front/rear damper mount set is made for TRAXXAS TRX4 owners who want firmer support for the stock dampers and precise ride-height stages. The metal mounts replace the deformable plastic items and provide multiple hole positions to alter damper angle and lift the chassis for improved obstacle clearance.

Fitting is straightforward: place the 3x6x2 aluminum collars as shims between the damper ball ends and the mount, push the round head screws in from the rear, then secure externally with the 3mm lock nuts. The kit includes the small mounting hardware needed to retrofit these mounts without modifying the damper bodies.

Tune and fit notes: using the upper holes raises the mount roughly 6mm above the factory location, while the lower selected holes can add about 18mm of lift versus stock. Lifting the chassis will change suspension geometry and commonly requires lengthening or re-centering tie rods to preserve axle and steering alignment. Because lift increases the centre of gravity, pairing this upgrade with a wider track or wider hex hubs is recommended to keep lateral stability during technical climbs.
