This 9T steel motor pinion is a direct-fit replacement created for the TRAXXAS TRX4 platform and carries the model number TRX4009T. It is made from hardened steel #45 and shaped to suit low speed crawler drivetrain loads.

The pinion mounts to the motor shaft and transmits torque into the gearbox. It matches spur gears with a 32 pitch profile and 0.8mm tooth spacing and fits motors with a 3.175mm centre bore when a 9 tooth ratio is required for slow, technical crawling.

Installation is straightforward for anyone used to changing motor pinions: slide the pinion onto the shaft, secure with the supplied 3*3 screw shaft, and set the gear mesh to avoid binding.
