6061-T6 aluminum adapter and heatsink bracket

This kit is made for TRAXXAS Slash 4x4 Low-CG and pairs a fixed gear adapter with a motor heatsink mount to stabilise motor position and help draw heat away during hard runs. Major parts are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum to resist flex under load and conduct heat away from the motor housing.

The bracket provides five indexing positions labeled A, B, C, D, and E so you can alter the motor pinion to spur spacing. Selecting different hole positions allows fine tuning of gear mesh to reduce binding or backlash without changing the gearbox or spur geometry.

Tuning note: this is an aftermarket tuning component intended to make motor assembly setup more repeatable and to offer improved passive cooling during extended runs or when experimenting with different motors.
