Low-CG aluminium adapter matched to hardened steel gears

This aluminium gear adapter is supplied with hardened steel 32-pitch gears and is made to replace the stock interface on TRAXXAS Slash 4X4 LOW-CG layouts that use the 68086-21 configuration. The kit pairs a 54T spur with a 15T motor gear to give a consistent mesh and reliable drivetrain behaviour for tuning and track testing.

The aluminium adapter lowers the spur mounting profile to suit the LOW-CG layout, and the hardened steel spur and pinion improve wear resistance versus softer replacements. Install this set when you need stable engagement and repeatable gear ratio changes for performance tuning.

Common final ratios for the supplied 54T spur are shown below to aid pinion selection; final values depend on the chosen motor gear:
