This 12pcs upgrade set replaces the front axle assemblies on Traxxas Slash 4x4 platforms and is intended to strengthen the front end while keeping steering geometry stable under heavy use. The kit pairs hardened steel mating parts with 6061 T6 aluminum pieces to deliver a balance of durability and reduced rotating mass.

Key construction details: the CVD shafts use hardened 45# steel mating parts combined with 6061 T6 aluminum components, and the knuckle arms are CNC-machined from 6061 T6 aluminum to resist wear. The central axle section is thickened to 6mm to better absorb impacts from hard landings, and spring steel hexes stabilise the hub interface under load. Bearings supplied in the kit are sized for smooth wheel-end rotation.

Installation and setup tips: use the multiple positioning holes on the knuckle arm to tune tie rod angle, ackermann and steering throw. When swapping these parts for stock items, check spline engagement and bearing seating before testing, and recheck wheel alignment after the first run. The thicker axle and hardened steel interfaces reduce deformation risk and help keep steering response consistent over rough terrain.
