Low center of gravity shock and axle set for Traxxas

This 64-piece upgrade kit combines front and rear aluminium shocks, hardened #45 steel axle parts and spring-steel hex wideners to adjust ride height and track width on TRAXXAS RUSTLER and Slash platforms. The set targets a lower centre of gravity and a slightly wider track to improve chassis stability through corners and at higher speeds on 1/10 off-road layouts.

Adjustable items include the shock top screw and the interchangeable springs, letting you change preload and the compressive feel without specialist tools. Front shocks are shortened to 75mm and rear shocks to 80mm to reduce ride height; the gold and silver springs use different coil wire diameters listed in the parts to deliver varied stiffness. CVD assemblies pair hardened #45 steel drive elements with 6061-T6 aluminium housings for robustness where driveshafts and wheel joints take load.

Installation notes: when fitting to Slash bodies lowered by this kit, check for tyre to shell contact and use the supplied aluminium collars between body posts and shock mounts to alter shock angle and support the shell. Suggested collar stacks from the source show front 8mm with rear 12mm at maximum body height, and front 12mm with rear 16mm at minimum body height to maintain clearance.
