This aluminum hex adapter is an aftermarket replacement for TRAXXAS Rustler VXL wheel hubs, designed to strengthen the wheel-to-axle junction while widening the track by 2mm. The adapter body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum to balance low mass and tensile strength, and the increased hex thickness shifts the wheel mounting position outward.

In operation the adapter locates between wheel and hub to secure the wheel on either axle and to give improved lateral support during acceleration and cornering. Retaining pins lock the adapter to the axle so the wheel stays indexed to the driveshaft for consistent steering response and predictable handling.

Fitting is simple: remove the wheel, seat the hex adapter on the hub, align the axle hole and insert the supplied pins. No extra parts are needed beyond common wheel tools and a hex driver, but verify clearance and wheel alignment on your chassis before full use.
