This 1/10-scale front axle assembly is made for TRAXXAS Rustler VXL builds and is intended to handle power delivery while preserving the model's front wheel geometry. The design pairs a hardened #45 steel main shaft with a 6061 T6 aluminium alloy body to combine torsional strength with reduced rotating mass for hobby RC use.
Mechanical highlights include a CVD (constant velocity drive) layout that keeps rotation smooth at steering angles, a telescoping-style body to raise clearance and aid articulation, and a spring steel hex insert to stabilise the hub under load. These features are scaled for RC applications and do not refer to full-size vehicles.
The kit contents provided for assembly and replacement of the stock front axle subassembly include the following:
Installation notes: the axle is manufactured to mate with stock mounting and driveline points on TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL variants. Check the CVD interface and spline fittings for correct fit and lubrication during fitment. The component is intended as a direct upgrade or replacement for hobby RC drivetrains.
For hobbyists wanting a firmer front drive on the Rustler VXL, this axle set uses hardened steel and an aluminium body with CVD geometry to refine front-end drivetrain behaviour in scale RC running.
