This 2-piece aluminum fixed gear adapter is an RC-scale replacement compatible with TRAXXAS RUSTLER VXL, built to stabilise motor pinion alignment and allow precise motor-to-spur pitch adjustment. Machined from aluminum 6061 T6, the adapter provides a firmer mounting surface than typical plastic mounts and helps disperse heat away from the motor area.

The adapter uses five indexed mounting positions labelled A, B, C, D, E so you can modify the motor pinion to spur spacing without altering the gearbox or motor mount. Changing hole positions lets you tune driveline engagement to reduce binding and retain consistent gear mesh under load. The part is supplied as a 2 pcs set to cover both relevant mounting points.

Installation is a direct mechanical swap at the motor mount interface and is intended for use with your existing motor, pinion, spur and fasteners; no additional adapters or tools are included. Keep the assembly free of debris and verify gear mesh through full suspension travel during fitting for reliable operation.
