This STRV1201 ring gear is an aftermarket RC-scale replacement made for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo3.3 platforms, supplied as a single pcs unit. It is a direct-fit gearbox component intended to replace the stock ring gear with a hardened steel option, keeping the installation and tuning within model-scale RC practice.

The gear's purpose is to sit in the transmission area of the model: it creates a durable mating surface for the motor pinion and existing spur gear, and is chosen when a builder wants a wear-resistant steel component instead of softer materials.
