This TRV089 alloy fuel tank protector is an aluminium-alloy aftermarket spare made for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo 3.3 nitro models. It is intended to stop direct strikes, stones and chassis abrasion from deforming the plastic fuel tank while leaving fuel system hardware unchanged.

The protector mounts over the existing tank area using the supplied hardware in the 1pc set, enabling a quick replacement or upgrade during routine maintenance. It retains access to fuel lines and fittings while adding a rigid barrier under the tank location.

In setup terms, the shield helps prevent tank distortion that can upset fuel delivery and running consistency, and it stiffens the chassis mounting zone under hard use. Always check exhaust clearance and rear suspension travel when fitting to prevent unwanted contact.
