Alloy intake assembly for Traxxas Revo

This RC-scale alloy air filter set is designed for Traxxas Revo platforms, including the Revo 3.3 variant. The metal housing ships with two replaceable foam filter elements and a mounting manifold so you can swap in a tougher intake assembly when stock parts show wear.

Its primary role is to keep dirt and grit away from the carburetor and intake tract while preserving steady airflow for reliable idle and throttle response. A metal-bodied filter with replaceable foam cores helps keep servicing predictable and reduces track-side downtime.

Fitting and upkeep

• Remove the original filter and clean the intake flange and carburetor face before fitting.
• Insert a foam element into the alloy housing, align the manifold with the carburetor inlet, then attach the housing to the manifold and secure with the required clamp.
• After the first run inspect seals and check the foam regularly for contamination; clean or replace foam when it starts to restrict airflow.

Regular inspection of the foam element keeps nitro performance steady and protects internal engine parts.
