Front driveline CVD upgrade

This aftermarket set replaces the front CVD driveshafts on the TRAXXAS MINI XRT VXL 3S chassis. Components are machined from 4140 carbon steel with a hardened black finish and use a CVD-style joint to permit larger steering angles and smoother torque transfer from the motor to the drivetrain. Length from each dog bone end to midpoint is 62mm to match the front CVD location for this model.

The parts come pre-assembled for a quick swap. Drive cups and the set screws are supplied to restore a complete front assembly. For secure installation apply a medium-strength screw thread adhesive to the set screws to reduce the chance of loosening during running.

This replacement set is focused on strengthening the front driveline with hardened 4140 steel and a CVD-style interface to support increased steering angle and consistent power delivery; follow thread-lock guidance and check fit with your existing front CVD parts before full use.

They are designed for the front CVD location listed for the MINI XRT VXL 3S, but you should verify fitment against your vehicle before final installation.
Made from hardened 4140 carbon steel, the parts offer improved rigidity and wear resistance compared with typical stamped or softer steel driveshafts.
Yes, items are supplied pre-assembled; check and tighten the set screws and use medium-strength thread adhesive as recommended.
The CVD-style joint is intended to permit a larger steering angle and more consistent torque transfer, but final steering feel depends on your overall suspension setup and wheel/toy fitment.
Apply medium-strength screw thread adhesive to the set screws, hand-check alignment before tightening, and recheck torque after a short shakedown run.
