6061-T6 widening arm and driveset for MAXX

This 88 piece aftermarket kit is built as an upgrade for the TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck to widen the axle track and reinforce front and rear suspension geometry. The package focuses on replaceable upper and lower arms, adjustable CVD drive shafts, reinforced hex adapters and steering tie rods so you can increase track width and raise chassis stability under hard off-road use.

Key components are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, paired with stainless steel fasteners and Delrin collars at wear points. The design swaps standard cross-pin linkages for CVD swing joints and heavier axles to improve drive efficiency while keeping overall mass sensible. Two 4mm white Delrin shims are included to tune rear-side clearance where required.

Installation and tuning notes: the kit offers multiple damper mounting positions and adjustable turnbuckles for toe and camber adjustment. The widened arm locations add 20mm per side to the track, so check wheel and body clearances before final fitment. Bearings sized 8x16x5 are supplied to match the thicker axles in this set.
