Steering linkage upgrade kit

This RC steering upgrade is built for TRAXXAS MAXX monster truck steering systems. The set pairs an adjustable stainless steel tie rod with a 25T servo horn machined from 6061-T6 aluminium to give a direct, tunable connection between the servo and the steering linkage. Components are intended for hobby-scale setup and tracking, not for road or full-size use.

Fine tuning is straightforward: change the servo horn mounting hole to alter throw and leverage, then use the tie rod's opposing threads to lengthen or shorten the link for toe and steering-angle corrections. The tie rod includes clockwise and counterclockwise threads so you can tweak length without disassembling, and a locating hole accepts a driver for quick indexed adjustments.

Materials prioritise durability for RC use: the horn is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium for a favourable strength to weight ratio, while the tie rod is stainless steel to reduce flex and resist corrosion. Supplied fasteners are stainless steel and sized for the small-scale mounting points on chassis and servos.
