This kit contains two plastic ball ends made for RC use with TRAXXAS MAXX linkages specified as TXMS160S. The pair is intended as direct replacements to renew worn or damaged steering and linkage connections.
Each ball end forms the pivot between the linkage rod and steering components; when they wear you will notice increased play and less precise steering. Replacing the worn ball ends helps recover original steering geometry and suspension response without altering other components.
Fitting is straightforward for anyone used to basic linkage work: remove the old ball end, screw the replacement onto the linkage or fitting, confirm it seats correctly and that articulation is free. After installation check clearances and resecure any retaining hardware to the original tolerances.
Inspect ball ends periodically and replace when you notice play to maintain sharp steering response.
